Unauthorised Debit Order Date Change

ABSA repeatedly fail to honour the debit order mandate that was expressly agreed upon. As per our mutual agreement, my account was to be debited on the 25th day of each month. Unfortunately, Absa has once again processed the debit on the last day of the month instead of the agreed date. This deviation from the agreed debit date has caused unnecessary inconvenience and could potentially lead to financial complications, including issues with budgeting and the risk of insufficient funds. This was in fact the case and this led to me having an outstanding balance which continues to accumulate interest because of their own wrongdoing. The reliability of agreed-upon payment dates is essential for effective financial planning, and it is disappointing to experience this breach of trust and service. I respectfully request ABSA to 1. Investigate the reason for this recurring deviation from the agreed mandate. 2. Rectify the debit order schedule to ensure it is strictly processed on the 25th of each month moving forward and lastly 3. Provide written confirmation that this issue has been addressed and outline measures taken to prevent future occurrences.
