unauthorised debit order

I have noticed that the was a debit order that went off my account . I have not authorized this debit order . I have stopped these debit orders yet they are still continuing. i will not be liable for the fees as i NEVER received a debit order check from ABSA ,I'm going to excite this to the bank ombudsman as this the 3 time this is happening.

The are 3 debit orders that went off 1. R474.60 2.R454.52 3.358.00

AS per PASA a debit order must only go thru once i have approved the debit order check

I have received an email that my hello peter complaint has been closed ,

My major concern has not been attended to

Why did debit orders go thru with a debit checks .

I am now pushed to the corner as no one sees it fit to explain to me why debit orders went off my account with a debit checks authorization

Maybe I should log a complaint with PASA and the Ombudsman . Then ABSA will provide me with explanations

Dear Malefo

We have also placed a stop payment in your account but that is not a guarantee that the debit orders will not go through, should the creditors change the reference numbers the debit orders will go through again.

We request that you make contact with the creditors and ask them to delete the debit orders from their side.
These are direct debit orders initiated by creditors and the clients don’t approve anything, they are not like debi check debit orders where the client approves.  This is the reason why you did not receive the notification to approve.

If it is a debi check then approval will be needed from your side but not a direct debit order.

Also don’t forget to make contact with the creditors and ask them where they got your information from.
