UNABLE TO USE PROVIDED CREDIT CARD

I app**** for the ABSA credit card and l was asked to send through the fica documents which l did. After sending through these document several times finally l was informed that all was clear and they asked me how l would like to receive my card.l waited patiently till my card was delivered at my workplace,l got my pin number but the card was not activated so l went to a branch who informed me that there was a hold on my card. The consultant from Southernwood branch East London resent all the documents to ensure that there was nothing missing and the credit card section confirmed that all was in order l just had to waite about a day to get my card activated.after two days still nothing had been done but instead l was told that a declaration was missing so the consultant who sent my docs last time resent them again since he still had the copies.I kept calling the call centre and l would be told that one thing or the other was missing but the staff at the branches would confirm with me that everything had been sent several times.During my enquiries one call centre consultant took it upon herself to do follow ups and she would update me on a regular basis. Finally l recieved a call from credit cards that my card was now ready to use,the next day l decided to use the card but l got a slip indicating that l could not use the card. This whole nightmare has taken about a month with me being sent from pillar to post.what l do not understand is why l was issued with a card that l cannot use and R161 rands has been deducted from the card for a reason l do not understand.I am able to see amounts but l cannot use the card at all,l thought FNB was bad but this is a new low for me.I have done all that l am required to do as a client so l do not understand why l am being given such **** service which is taking such a lengthy period to resolve
