*****ulent transactions
Yesterday i made a online payment to the Courier Guy for a my online purchase that i made in August. My Absa bank account number *** was hacked yesterday. I made a purchase with my card at Boxer Kimberley at 13h08, then at 16h59 two purchases were made with a card at a Supermarket at Randburg while i was in Kimberley while my card was with me. I further received messages of insufficient funds that made me to check my account transactions. I immediately called the ***** department to log case (***2). i then enquired if my unauthorised transactions will be reversed back to my account and the answer was it is not possible. This is the third time i reported unauthorised transaction in both my cheque and credit card account and im not happy with the result. Their solution is to block the card and issue a new one. Im very afraid from now to trust Absa with my money because of their poor security that fails to protect our money and information. My salary is paid into Absa bank and by the way their system is not protective- it means my salary can easily and *****ulently accessed and taken and i will have not be reimbursed. Can Absa improve their online security measures and return my hard earned money from the hands of *****sters. What is the point of banking with Absa if one cannot transact online due to weak security measures in this day of advanced technology. Please reverse my money back to my account. There is no way i can make purchase with a card in Kimberley and someone else is buying with the same card in Randburg. All three reported *****ulent activities in my cheque and credit card must be refunded.
