*****ulent accounts opened at Absa

On the 29th of August our bankers made us aware that a several *****ulent loans ware owing on my husband’s name. One of these loans was through Finance27. Upon investigation it was determined that this loan was paid to an Absa account in my husband’s name which he has never opened with Absa. How is it possible for a *****ulent account to be opened with Absa? We have contacted Absa and Absa ***** division concerning this matter and to assist in resolving, investigate and closing the account to prevent any further *****. We have not had any comeback from Absa other than reference numbers.
