About a month ago, in December 2015 I went into my ABSA (North End) branch to have my ATM card replaced after receiving repeated messages on the ATM that my card is about to expire. After waiting in the queue for some time, I was told that the branch could not help me as they were out of stock of the specific cards. I was advised to go to another branch for the replacement card. When I complained to ABSA about this inconvenience and incompetence, my branch manager phoned me, explaining that the bank has made a mistake, my type of card do not expire and besides, that the branch had stock of all cards that need replacement. <br> After this, and when using the card again, the ATM message has disappeared, until 24 January, when the ATM retained the card with the message \Card expired - visit your branch\". <br> I again visit the North End branch on 29 January to resolve the issue. Having waited for a considerable period of time in the queue, the branch manager, by coincidence met me and arranged for the card to be issued.
