Trying to pay ABSA account but they will not take my money!!!

I moved to NZ 9 months ago. Arriving here opened a bank account and tried to pay my ABSA credit card outstanding balance of R800. Of course the card number does not work.No problem simply mail then BEFORE anything goes wrong get the correct way of making the payment and well be done. Turns out this is not so easy. The reply is simply, "Sir log into your app and select international payment and all will be sorted". I reply and explain, no I need to pay money from NZ to my ABSA CC in SA. The App is for paying from SA to another country. Believe it or not this conversation goes up and down a few times. So I start a new mail to the same help email. Still no help. I have reference numbers etc. but no help. I then make a phone call to ABSA hold on for an hour and get to some person who spends another 15 minutes trying to convince me that the APP is the way to go. Somehow the message that I am trying to pay the money into the card from another country does not compute. Eventually I speak to someone who says that the money must be paid into a suspense account and then from there it will then be paid to the card. She provides a number. I do this but after a few days the money reflects back into my account. Wrong number. This was late last year. I have since made two phone calls to ABSA trying to sort this issue and have found out that the account has been handed to another department, I am sure " collections". I asked if they could assist with contact details so that this can be sorted, well in the end last night the phone was dropped in my ear as she said" I don't know what you want" and that was it. I have to state that the conversation was professional at all times. I have the entire email on record and would really like to hear what someone at ABSA has to say about this. I have in my entire life never missed a payment on anything, here I am trying to pay the account but failing to do so due to what seems to be *********** front line staff. My email address and phone number is available from ABSA to contact me, I have after all now moved the problem to a pubic forum. PLEASE ABSA CONTACT ME I WANT TO PAY YOU!! as a foot note, it will be interesting to see if I get charged interest on the R800 and all sorts of fees as I am not at fault here!! Trying to contact me on my SA number will clearly not work. Inputting and other number is not allowed by the system so please speak to me on this forum and Ill gladly provide the correct details

Reviewer Update
I received a mail from ABSA and they have completely resolved the matter and apologized for the misunderstanding. I am very pleased with the outcome and want to say that every single business out there will make mistakes, in whatever form or shape. What matters is how it is solved. ABSA thank you for assisting and I will certainly, based on the response from the CC team recommend you.

Regards
