Treatment of loyal customers
I have been an Absa client for most of their existence. I have never missed a payment and I have never been in debt. I recently finished paying down my car and can't be happier to have the title transfer from ABSA to my name.

In my last month of payment I received a letter from ABSA that in no uncertain terms explained that personal items/assets will be repossessed if I don't make immediate payment. As mentioned earlier, I have never missed any payment, EVER! So, doing that last payment left a bitter taste in my mouth as ABSA decided to end our agreement under threat. I can understand if someone misses payment for a month or two but to send a letter like this DURING the payment period is utterly disrespectful. By doing this ABSA is directly questioning my commitment to honour our agreement.

You may think this is a small, inconsequential matter but if you don't respect your clients we can't respect you. I am currently researching alternative banking options as ABSA has not proven to be the \friendly"client oriented business they claim to be. """
