TRANSFERRED FUNDS NOT AVAILABLE - EMBARRASSED AT RESTAURANT
On the 24th of December I transferred some funds to my Absa credit card after receiving numerous sms's that my account is overdrawn. The amount of R368 reflected immediately. The funds available was supposed to be used for our Christmas lunch at Silverstar Casino's one restaurant.
When I tried to transfer the available funds to my Savings account to use my debit card, I got a message that "Account is overline". *** does this mean - OH after using Google, I found out that the funds take 24hours to reflect. Well well, with a red face after having a brilliant lunch, I had to tell the waiter and restaurant manager that I am unable to pay for the lunch - and even showed them the message on my Online Banking on my phone. What an embarrassment!! Not that ABSA gives a **** about this!!
Till this time, 16h52 on the 26th of December 2017, my funds are still not available, not even the debit order amount for my Credit Card. Really!! And ABSA expects to keep its customers.
For many years I have had my accounts with ABSA, but it seems that I will be moving to Capitec in due time. This is **** service, as I have never ever had a problem with funds when transferred from one account to the other.
ABSA can contact me on my mobile to resolve this problem, and if not, I will contact the highest possible ABSA management member and shove my account up his/her ****.
This is BULL****!! Thank you for an embarrassed face at a "Larney" restaurant with my family whom now thinks I am a piece of **** for the whole situation.
