Transfer of funds into an incorrect account

Extremely Poor Service and Lack of Assistance from ABSA Representatives

I am deeply disappointed with the service I received from ABSA, specifically from Mandisa Tshambo and Naledi Matlaoe (emails: ***ca and ***ca ).

I mistakenly made a payment to an old ABSA account that was previously saved as a beneficiary. Despite having no current accounts or affiliations with ABSA, I contacted the relevant people immediately to try and recover the funds. Unfortunately, I received absolutely no assistance. Instead they refuse to refund back my money.

Even after escalating the matter, I was met with silence and no resolution. This lack of accountability and customer care is unacceptable.

Based on this experience, I will never use ABSA Bank again and strongly caution others to think twice before trusting them with their finances.
