Transfer of Funds

Having banked at Absa for 11 years, and always very responsible with various accounts, I was extremely distressed with the service received. Because of circumstances and unemployment, and doing the responsible thing, I went onto debt management voluntary. All Absa accounts were handed over. however, Absa deducted the full overdraft, which was also handed over. froze the cheque account, which is understandable, but made it difficult to have existing funds transferred to the savings account, leaving me without a salary, and perhaps in two to three working days it might happen. Having spent two hours in the bank for assistance to just obtain my salary, and having all the documents in place for debt management, the service I received was not acceptable. I had to walk out of there with the promise of a phone call which did not materialise from the Vaal Mall Branch. I did received a message from the debt councillors that the funds will eventually be released, but that is not acceptable, as I am a pensioner that relies heavily on my income now, which is currently not accessible. What is one to do when one tries to do the right thing?
