Transaction done on my credit card

<p>I hd a credit card with Absa with the credit limit of R6500.On 21 February 2015 I had 4 notifications regarding transactions from SAA done at 06:39,06:40,06:40 and 07:11 amounting to R 15 554.40. I went to SAA who contacted Absa as their offices were closed and was informed the deductions were for flights booked on the 23 December 2014. I went to Absa they provided me with printout of the payments for December. I have informed them that i didnt go anywhere and didnt book any tickets with SAA in December 2014. I lodged a complained with Absa Card Disputes which in the process they ended up taking off the R15 554.40 on my account. In May 2015 I decided to close my account , I had around R10 000 on my credit card, because my credit limit is R6500 they deposited the remaining R4100 to my savings account and close the account. To my supprise I received a call in October 2016 from the Newton attorneys telling me the I owe Absa R19 647.96. I informed them that i closed my credit card and I dont owe Absa, they provided me with evidence that I purchased tickets in July 2014.</p> <p>It is just a never endings story, from having credit card with R6500 to owing R19 647.50 for the tickets booked in December 23, 2014 and money deducted in February 2015 to having evidence of tickets purchased in July 2014. My concerned is my name is reflected badly on credit bureau and Im getting nowhere with Absa.</p> <p>Im so upset with they way Absa is operating when it comes to my case.</p>
