Totally unprofessional and clueless - Platinum Credit Card Call Centre

I received a call from a call centre agent from Absa credit card department on the 06 October 2016. The agent asked if I would like to apply for a credit limit increase, to which i rep**** yes. I was then asked a few questions (to confirm my income and affordability), to which i answered truthfully, and at the end of the call was told that I qualified for a limit increase to R******* . I received and sms confirming this 'You have been provisionally approved for a credit limit increase SUBJECT TO INCOME VERIFICATION'

All i had to do was sent through my Proof of income to a supp**** email address, which i did on the same day. I received an sms on the 10/10 stating that my request for a limit increase was declined. I then called through to the Platinum card call centre, and was told by agent Chardonnay, first that i was declined because of conduct on my account (which was bullsh*t as my account was never in arrears...then she said it was conduct of external accounts as per ITC. However, I had a fresh copy of my ITC report (requested 3 days prior) in from of me, and there was no evidence of any accounts in arrears, being paid late etc...so there reason did not make sense.

I requested for Chardonnay to find out exactly why the limit increase was declined, she promised to get back to me by COB (11/10), Its now end of day 12/10 , and still no feedback.

This has been a very disappointing customer experience for me, I would never have imagined ABSA to be so unprofessional.
