TODAY ...TOMORROW ... TOGETHER ? I DON'T THINK SO :(

I really have had an awful experience with ABSA Waverley in Pretoria. I am ill and for the last couple of months, I have been experiencing chronic back pain. I went to ABSA Waverley on the 3rd of December and was given ticket #18. I told the lady a the security door, that I only want to fix my cellphone /internet banking - After 15 minutes of standing in the queue with terrible back pain, I was let to go into the branch but then I saw that I will have to wait for another 1 - 2 hours because I only saw 2 bankers that have to service more than 20 plus clients. I went home without any help. Then I tried my luck on the 11th of December 2020, still, with the extreme pain, I managed to stand in the queue, this time I was not offered a ticket, but anyway - I was about 6th in the queue and it took a few minutes for me to enter the bank. I was accompanied by my mentally disabled daughter. I went to a lady who attended to clients in another queue inside the bank. I asked her if I can just sit for a while, and sat down where she could see me. I have just sat down when she came to me, and my facial mask just went off to show my nose for a brief second, ( I myself did not notice it) - but in the rudest manner before other clients and before my daughter she said that pull you mask right... without telling me if I am sitting at the right place or even if she took my plea that my back is killing me into consideration - she just left me there - where I burst out in tears in front of everyone - I was never felt so humiliated in my life - and really did not expect such rudeness from an ABSA Banker. Afterwards I felt that I need to speak to the branch manager - but she seemed agitated with me and only said I must go and have a seat a consultant will see me regarding my problem. After 4 more people went before me, I was called - I showed the lady that my banking app did not work - like it was terminated - she then told me it was because there was debit orders that did not went off - that it is why my app was blocked - I did not understand, because I don't have any debit orders with ABSA - but either way, she unblocked the app - I went home, feeling abused by the way I was treated - even my daughter at some time had to come to me to try and comfort me! Over the weekend I tried to log onto my internet banking - and it was blocked ... go to your nearest branch it was all that it said - I tried my cellphone banking - again the app was blocked - after phoning ABSA customer service, the lady who help me over the phone - she told me, this is because I owe ABSA money for the internet banking subscription and I need to pay R78 to get my app/account unblocked. NEVER in my whole life - I have heard that a bank can block you for a mere R78 they could not debit from my account because there were no funds available - - I don't believe this happens with other banks?? The best of all is, that the cellphone banking, as well as my internet banking, still don't work - IT ONLY SAYS: ACCOUNT LOCKED this service is not active, please contact your branch. NO! Thank you ABSA - ever in my life will I enter any branch again after my horrific ordeal - I want to cancel my account - but will not enter a psyical branch of your ever! Can i do it over the phone?
