Three weeks, still no card

Three weeks ago I received an SMS notification from ABSA of an attempted ********** online transaction on my credit card account.

I immediately went to the nearest branch where I was told that I would need to cancel the card and order a new one. I was told that the new card would take 2-4 working days and would be delivered to the branch (Brooklyn). I was also informed that there would be a “card replacement fee”

I’ve received a call each week for the past three weeks from ABSA’s couriers to say that they’ve “just received” the new card from ABSA and want a delivery address to deliver in 2-4 working days.

Further, the card on which the ***** was attempted had only recently be delivered due to the old card expiring. The new card was in fact still in the delivery envelope in my safe at home.

Can ABSA please explain how the person who attempted the ***** got the card details for a card that had never been used?

Why, three weeks later do I still not have a replacement card, and why must I pay a replacement fee for ***** that that is clearly beyond my control.
