Threat of repossession of car via 3rd party

I need help with my AVAF account. I got into financial difficulties and missed a few payments - according to my calculations, I am in arrears by 2 months. I was contacted by a 3rd party saying that they want to repossess my vehicle. The lady said that I needed to pay 60% of the arrears amount, I paid R22000 which I borrowed from someone - yet she kept on sending messages saying that I am still short by R5400. I tried calling AVAF and they said they dont have access to my account and I must call the legal dept. I have tried calling, been transferred from pillar to post and nobody has been able to assist me. I then received a whatsapp message from the lady saying that she has sent my details to the Metro police to repossess it. I have shown ABSA that I am willing to sort this out and pay the arrears off but they are not giving me the opportunity to even speak to them. And this lady is putting fear into myself and my family saying that they will take the vehicle away now. I just need someone to listen and try and assist - like many people who go through this - fear will not get anyone anywhere - just be human - we are going through such a tough time with this economy and me borrowing R22000 to pay into my vehicle account should indicate that I am willing to pay. Please Absa, please contact me before my wife leaves me from all this stress and takes my kids with her. I did not ask to lose my job and be put in this situation - please allow an arrangement via you guys directly and not via a third party that have no hearts.
