*******! Home Loan Settled and Account Closed but Absa still deducting on it!

My dad paid his homeloan of more than 30 years in full in 2018. He followed all due processes to close the account. 3 years later he is being harassed for an amount of almost R10 000 outstanding on his bond account due to life insurance and building insurance that has deducted the annual amount (full fees for the year x 3) off the bond account. Every time we try to resolve this, there are excuses and issues. The outstanding amount keeps increasing and no one can tell us why an account that was settled and closed still have debits (not monthly but annual) deducted off it. Now my dad, a man with a sassa pension is responsible for an account being outstanding due to your bank's incompetence and stupidity! This is the value you get from a bank whose only aim is to take from their clients!!! After more than 30 years of paying and settling his home loan, he is yet to be the owner of his own house! How disgusting Absa!!!!
