It is *******l to deduct money from an account without permission or authorization from the owner of the account?
YES
So why does Absa deduct money from my account without permission??
You take money on a Saturday but do not work on weekends. Pretty convenient.

29 Jun 2022, 15:04After 3 hours spent on the phone with Absa and Y Ebrahim Attorneys on Monday, and 4 panic attacks later, I was advised to visit my nearest branch to have the monies reversed.
I took a day of emergency leave, I went to the branch, and yet again NO ONE was able to assist me, then another panic attack in the branch.
Only to receive an email from you stating that my money is now being held hostage until payment arrangements have been made with Y Ebrahim Attorneys.
I am under debt review, my debt counselor has been contacting Absa and Y Ebrahim Attorneys since October 2021 with regards to this account. Absolutely no response has been received whatsoever and now you want to punish ME!!
Punish your client due to the lack of response from you and your appointed attorneys!!
ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!
Pay back my money!!! And respond to my debt counselor!!!
