The worst Bank ever

I will never recommend anyone to this bank. ABSA thinks nothing of their clients. Especially new clients.

I registered a Bank account with them online and was called by someone from their bank to confirm if I want the bank card shipped to me or do I want to collect it in a branch. I asked that the card be delivered to me because I do not want to go into a branch. I was at that time not comfortable explaining my situation to the consultant however I suffer from anxiety, am asthmatic, and have been Diagnosis by my doctor for having Coronaphobia.

I asked the advisor if there would be anything that I need to do in-branch when I get the card and was told no I will receive a pin and will be able t access everything myself as soon as the card gets to me.

My card was delivered to me on the 30th Sep 2021 At 11:26 am Unfortunately, I was in the hospital the week that my card was delivered so I could only get it the week after (4th October 2021) but when I received the card I notice there was no pin code nothing and that is when I started calling the helpline for assistance.

Ever since the 4th of October, I have been trying to get assistance where no one was able to assist me, I called up so many times, and the advisors were rude and just needed to transfer me from one person to the next, (R400's Airtime later I am still not able to use my card. They are now requesting me to go inside a branch and do something that I personally know I can not do due to my anxiety.

This company really does not care about us and they have proven this to me now. I really thought that they are different from the other banks however they actually worse.

I cant believe that company as big as ABSA could make me feel right now and the worse part of everything is that I am stuck where I am because I do not have access to my account to top my car with Fuel so I need to sit here or even best leave my car unattended and walk all the way to an ABSA Bank which I don't even know where it is and try force myself to walk in there and speak to someone I don't know.
