The so called caring ABSA bank

After being loyal to ABSA for 14 years with our SME business and only asking for the second time in 14 years for assistance with a project we have been again declined the assistance cause we seem to be too small to matter to them. Out of a R2.1 million rand project we have asked for a measly R300 000.00 assistance so we can kick start and complete the project ABSA again turned their back on us as a SME. I ask you why then do they do adverts of how much they help SME`s if it is not true?? The first time we asked for assistance they didn`t even come back to us and after we did a review here on hello peter they were quick to phone us to make themselves look good but in fact they still the same old " we could not give a **** bank" they have always been. Instead of helping to grow SME`s they rather turn their back on you as long as you keep paying all the extremely high tariffs they charge you. We would have created a few job opportunities with this project, if we got the assistance but now thanks to ABSA and all their assistance they give us we will probably have to notify our client that we can not complete this project and maybe even close our doors....... Thanks to the caring ABSA bank.
