The case of section 22 holders during this pandemic

Absa is exceptionally known to be kind for asylum seekers in South Africa. They deserve credit for that. However, recently the bank has frozen the account of many whose section 22 permit expired on this challenging times. Aparently permits are not renewed due to covid 19 and the home affairs and government officials have already made it known publicly. Absa need to consider this humanitarian situation as soon as possible. This is historic error.
