Terrible Service in time of need

<p>so, i had a break in at my place - 23 October 2016. Managed to get the window replaced on 24 October 2016. Sent invoice to ABSA Insurance on 25 October 2016. To date, nothing paid.</p> <p> </p> <p>The glacier is following up with me as he has not received payment. ABSA is silent.</p> <p> </p> <p>Then I call the call centre (31 October 2016), OH MY WORD. A "Jane" answers the call. I give her my story. She places me on hold to confirm with the person dealing with the "window" claim. I hold on for what seems an eternity. A different consultant answers the phone as if i called her. (i have been blind transferred). When asked how far the claim is, i am told i need to complete a form ( so if I did not call, when would i find out about this? )</p> <p> </p> <p>Then i ask the new consultnat to send the form while I hold on (10:30am) she confirms that it was sent. I hold on, still not e-mail with form - i decide to end my expensive call that I am paying for.</p> <p> </p> <p>It is now R10:40 am - still no e-mail.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is pathetic - I think i shuld move the insurance to a cpmapny that actually cares and does nto just have clever slogans...</p> <p> </p> <p>So i need to complete the form, send it back and then probably follow up to ensure it is paid ....</p> <p> </p> <p>No man, this is pathetic, my name is at stake - not ABSA , MINE!</p>
