Terrible service from Absa Vehicle Finance ( AVAF)

I continue to have an awful experience with Absa Vehicle Finance ( Avaf Services) My current advice is to do whatever you can to avoid this financing option, even if they offer you a better rate, rather choose Wesbank, or any other banking product with vehicle finance. C-***4; C-***9;C-***9 are my email ticket numbers + multiple calls to call center I changed banks, and changed my debit order details accordingly through the AVAF process. This was confirmed by AVAF. Life is busy ,and i did not notice my debit orders not go off for two months post the change May 1 and June 1. Luckily my new bank informed me. None of this was my fault but Absa admin issues, i have confirmation in writing the debit order changes were approved Now, post a week of attempting they still have bot debited my 'catch up amount' , although promised for multiple days, and promised to do so on multiple occasions. I am also told by my new bank that my credit ratings are effected due to this Absa admin error. They have still not confirmed reversal of these credit rating effects; and still have not debited the catch up amount. For no reason whatsoever was this due to lack of funds. Come on Absa, multiple calls with your call center; 3 email tickets logged, zero progress. I have not received a call from a manager or supervisor, this is really poor!

Thank you Godfrey
However this is not getting anywhere; I now get an email from an Absa agent asking for 3 months bank statements. While I will provide these, this has zero to do with money in the account, it was an Absa admin error and negligence. I have asked 3 times now for Absa to do the catch up debit orders; I have been assured on multiple calls and emails that this will happen, including 18 June. This did not happen. Please resolve immediately. Nick

Hi Godfrey,
I have told multiple call agents as well as on email that this is a current account ( cheque account); not a savings account. I just had another email from Absa asking me the same. I have also shared the official reference letter of the account from Investec. What is going on here? this has to be escalated to your technical team or IT team, as must be a debit order issue with Invesetc.
I am going now to social media and going to get legal advice as this has effected my credit rating due to zero fault of my own. Nick

Hi Godrey,
I am now lodging this complaint with the banking Ombudsman, as well as going to more social media. I have not received one phone call from a manager or senior to sort this out; it really should not happen to your customers, and to have my credit rating effected. It is extremely poor. Nick

Hi Godfrey
I got an email from absa. It says they are using this suspense account. Please find out from the team why they are using this account, it makes no sense. My investec account is a 100 ; current account number.

Thanks Godfrey
The latest I received is that they have to re-submit my debit order details and it could take 2-3 business days. My mobile is *** if you need to contact me directly.
