Terrible Service

<p>My husband and I contacted ABSA early on Monday morning due to the fact that our borehole pump was not working.</p> <p>We were so impressed that they so promptly sent someone out to assess this, he was at our property between 10:00 and 12:00 that same day.</p> <p>However, our joy ended there. From then, we heard nothing, nobody bothered to call or email us indicating that anything was being done about the situation.</p> <p>We have had to sit without water for over 5 days now, which is not only frustrating, but a necessity!! The service from ABSA, or should we say the lack thereof, is shocking.</p> <p>We have been valued clients of ABSA for more than 20 years, and this is the treatment of a loyal customer??</p> <p>We are appalled that after five days they have now declined our claim due to the fact that the person who assessed it, indicated that this was due to a power surge. Nobody else in the area has had a power surge.</p> <p>This is particularly strange, seeing as this pump was installed by the same company approximately seven months ago; are they perhaps trying to cover up a bad / faulty installation, as these pumps should contain a one year guarantee / warrantee?</p> <p>Does ABSA not check with Ekurhuleni whether a power surge was in fact the cause, or so they merely go on what the assessor has to report?</p> <p>Please note that we have already started getting quotations from alternate service providers.</p>
