SURPLUS FUNDS

I was contacted by Absa who advised that I was charged to much when I settled my credit card in 2009 and that there was an amount due to me. <br> <br> I asked them what was required and they advised that I should go with my id to the nearest Absa branch and that I should refer them to their circular nr 374/2015.<br> <br> I did so and was firstly told I had to open an account with Absa so they can pay the funds in which I refused. <br> <br> Then I was sent from pillar to post and returned to the Southdale branch with all the required documents and my bank statement. they faxed it off gave me no reference number and said the funds would be refunded within 21 days. This was on 21/11/2015. <br> <br> To date these funds have not been refunded and would like an immediate response and explanation from Absa.
