Sudden imposition of "Declined Fees"

I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the recent imposition of a fee for declined transactions by ABSA. I have been a loyal customer for over 30 years, and I am deeply disappointed by the sudden and unexpected imposition of this fee.

I was never informed or asked to consent to this fee. It was simply added to my account without any prior notice or explanation. As an unemployed person trying to become self-employed, this fee is an unnecessary burden that I cannot afford. I believe that it is highly ********* and immoral to charge a fee for a declined transaction that I have not agreed to!

So ********* and immoral ABSA decided to **** and plunder its poor customers by suddenly, impose a so-called "declined fees" fee of R10 since September 2022 despite the many crises' this country faces! ABSA want to wax richer and wealthier by ****ing over the poor! The poorest of the poor now has to enrich ABSA by paying for a cascading series of "Declined Fees", because the poor NEVER has sufficient funds!!! I am going to complaint to the HRC!!!
