STILL WAITING FOR VEHICLE FINANCING APPROVAL

On 15 December 2015 GWM Alberton submitted a finance application for a 2015 GWM M4 to various banks on my behalf. Wesbank and Nedbank approved by 17 December. ABSA did not respond, apparently pending. I wanted to wait for ABSA because I felt my own bank should be able to offer me a better interest rate. ( I am a ABSA customer for nearly 30 years). I made my own enquires to ABSA. on 18 December. 1st told it was still pending, then when I phoned again I was told that someone will contact before end of the day. Later I phoned and was told application was unsuccessful, vehicle I want to buy is too old!, 1998 model. I was told the dealership made a mistake and they must submit application again. According to GWM this is impossible, they submitted the same application to all banks to which Wesbank and Nedbank already responded and approved. I phoned again this morning and was given another number to call and was then promised a call back. Now I am still waiting for ABSA to respond and to tell me why my bank of 30 years is not responding to my queries and why they are unable to better the offer 11.89% from Wesbank.
