Still waiting for funds transferred into Absa account
My name is Judy Bopape. I'm still frustrated about SARS money paid into my old account. I went to midrand branch and to Sandton branch. I was told my money is now with debt recoveries department. That dept is only on telephone not in branch. After several correspondence with them I am still waiting for money that was paid in on the 5th of July. Days keep on being extended and I am still waiting. Absa told me they already deducted what I owe for charges but can't refund what is left. I need to wait. Well I am still waiting and I'm so fed up. I don't even wanna hear another story from them. They keep on rising and rising. I'm so over it but I want my money. C - ***3

20 Jul 2023, 11:36I am now beyond with Absa. Today I get told by Sthembile from the recovery department that the payment is done. I ask where is that money I am still waiting for it. I asked for proof all he said is he will ask and send it at 16h00. That is the time when they close. I need proof of payment so I can go to my bank. He tells me I should go and check with my bank as they have paid. Yet I can't get proof or a statement from absa. This bank takes people as jokes. I am sure they laugh at people's reviews and complaints. How come they don't act or assist people efficiently. This is my money. Not loan or credit money. Yet i have to cross river Jordan to get it. If you ask to speak to someone else, you get cut off. Yoh I'm tired and drained.
