Logged into my account today to run a few errands. See that I do not have sufficient cash for what I want to do. Absa took R1300 and some change from my account for "insurance" on my vehicle????????????? I have insurance on my vehicle. I do not need more insurance?? Now I am paying absa and a third party for insurance on the same vehicle. Is it even legal to take someones money without their consent? If they wanted to verify my insurance, they could have called me and I would happily provide all the information required. Now I cant pay my other stuff and the call center for insurance is closed until Monday. What an awesome weekend. Thanks *********** staff at ABSA.
