Standard turnaround time to clear transactions on non-res accounts
My account was changed to a non-resident account since I'm abroad for an extended period. For each payment made into my account the relevant supporting documents needs to be provided. What I find frustrating is the turnaround time to clear funds that occurs on a monthly basis and for which the supporting documents are already provided. One such an example is the rental income from a property I own. Why should it take more than a week to clear the funds? It should be done quicker. Maybe there is an easier route for this transaction that I'm not fami**** with. If the payment is made directly into the homeloan account would that be quicker or does it still follow the normal clearing process?
