Staff treatment at Durban North Branch

Greetings

I write this email with the sense of sadness of what your branch staff at Durban North are indulging on, all in the name of Sales & Service.

One of my employees, Nomfundo Sibiya, has been currently head-hunted from a Micro-finance company to join our new finance division as our Regional Service Manager. Since this position relies more on travelling to the respective workstations, it entails a person to being mobile.

As Nomfundo doesn’t have a vehicle, she would be using her car allowance to leasing a vehicle, which entails a current or credit account.

At her own choice she decided to revisit your bank for an upgrade or new accounting opening: • But at her arrival, she was subjected to an intense investigation of what will she be doing and the legitimacy of this company. • As the normal Salary switching process, a letter of comfirmation was issued to her as well as her lastest payslip (as funds needed to be credited on the 25th ) • Furthermore, while I was in a meeting, I received a very rude and unmannered call from one of your staff members , investigating me about my company. This person refused to introduce herself and continued to being persisted with her questions. She further threaten to come and visit our offices to confirm the proof of operating address we operate in (which we anxiously await).

So as am sure that the FAIS and FSB guidelines do not provide such treatment in the account opening process, I would like to know what was the motive behind their unpleasant behavoiur towards our Consortium, and mostly my staff (as it seems very stereo typical and racially infused).

I look forward to your response on this matter as I would like to take it through the proper channels of communication.

The representatives that my staff member remembers being assisted by is Amanda Dube and Cheryl Arjun.
