spent more than 2 hours with horrible call centre music - no service, no resolution - fees amounts to more than transaction amount

I made a faulty payment via ABSA immediate interbank service. The payment was held at the ***** department (R160, really?). Unknowingly, I redid the transaction as per normal, to realise that the initial payment was still on hold with the ***** department. I phoned general enqueries. after waiting for over 10 mins to get through, they sent me through to the ***** department. After another 10-15 mins ABSA dropped off the call. I redialled general enqueries. the same thing happened (luckily I also asked for the direct number in case it happens again). It happened again after about 10-15 mins. After this I phoned 4 times with no answer. All calls being 10mins+. I phoned a 5th time. After about 15-20 mins a woman picked up. I explained my predicament (twice), --that I had selected an option which was supposed to be an immediate transfer (costing R55 fee) --that I it had now went through as I could not get hold of them --that I just wanted my R160 transaction stopped (this would also save R55 fees on R160 payment), as the second ("less speedy") transaction had now already been confirmed.

Here comes the best part: to reverse this transaction, it would cost me R160. I made it clear that I believed that they were ****** sleeping on their side. I had literally spent my entire time since the payment and the confirmation (90 mins later) waiting on the phone. It will now costs me R160+R55 transaction fee on a R160 payment. That doesnt sound right. Worst even, is the horrible music that ABSA still uses. please learn from Momentum. Ask if you can borrow their CD. Capitec here I come
