South Africa's Worst Bank won't let you leave.

Absa bank is definitely South Africa's worst bank. They are a group of the most *********** people teaming together to give your south africa's worst service yet. I finally boiled over and decided to close my accounts with them which I was just keeping open and I called today to close which is already a very laborious and painful process. So easy to open, incredibly difficult to close.

I was asked security questions but I was speaking to a person who was mumbling the whole call and swallowing their words so I could not hear properly, despite this I still answered the questions correctly. I was told twice that I answered the questions incorrectly so they can't help me and It needs to be escalated to a superior. Absolute nonsense just to try and escape me closing my account.

There is a reason they are #6 in banking on hellopeter. Worst bank ever. Please help me leave.
