Sorry it is Head Office responsibility

I want to Absa bank in Clearwater this afternoon to open a account for my son. We were told to wait in the designated area. 2 agents were on duty. After more that an hour wait I went to reception and asked what I should expect as a reasonable time to wait to be assisted. The answer was sorry I can't help you. I asked for the Bank Manger and I was pointed to her office. I told the manager that it was unacceptable to wait so long for service and what is happening inside the cubicles. Is her staff having tea parties or what? It was obvious that 2 cubicles for clients were not enough. What happened next is a shocker. Gugu told me that it was Head Office responsibility to provide staff and there is nothing she can do about it. She told me to follow her and took me to the cubicle and told me to tell the agent about my complaint. She turned around and walked away. When we eventually went into the cubicle I was confronted by a client to come and take me on as I skipped the line. He came in while I was talking to Gugu. I can only presume she was send my me. Please train your management to deal with confrontation as the first rule is to deal with it, and not to tell clients to confront each
