So this is the Banks we deal with!!!

I have had terrible encounters with ABSA Vehicle Finance. I received a disturbing statement from ABSA informing me that I had fallen behind in my installments by one month. I immediatly contacted them to establish where I defaulted. No one could assits. I assumed that all was in order. A ouple of months later I was in trouble again. This was now big problems as they wanted to uplift my vehcile. I once again contacted ABSA. Once again very little assistance. To date I have regularly made payments and for the past two months have made additional payments of R300 a month. I attemted to speak to Judy Plaaitjies to inform and once again request what the final payment would be and she was out of office. A week later I attempted to phone her to inform her that I had made an additional payment. Once again she was not available. I then received a E-mail informing me that allthough payment has been done and additional payment was receved she is still proceeding with the matter. This was last year. Today the Sheriff of the court arrives at my door to collect the vehicle. Every time I requested a statement it reflected a different amount. What is going on? I am not driving a Merc only an Atos. I don't have many more payments left on my vehicle so they insist on taking my vehicle. Who wants my car? The Sheriff of the court got extremely upset when I wanted to remove my fuel as I had just under a halfa tank of fuel. Why. He insisted that the car was now his and we can not remove the fuel. Now the car is being driven to Empangeni on my fuel. He actually got very aggresive. I tried to keep as polite as possible and even offered him a glass of juice wich he consumed. He then insisted that we were being difficuilt and when pointing out that I was trying to be polite and even offered him juice he informed me that he would "puke" the juice out if I so wish. What the hell. What is going on here. Absa and the sheriff of the Court is playing God in South Africa. They give you false information and keep on sending you around from one place to another giving you false information in order to take the goods you are paying for. NEVER EVER would I EVER deal with ABSA AGAIN. ABSA has cancelled my contract and my vehicle removed. Is this how they steel from the people on the street. The entire time whilst the Sheriff was waiting for an additional driver we attempted to contact the attourneys and ABSA...to no avail. Once again no assistance. The gentelman from ABSA informed us that we should contact him tomorrow and then maybe we can resolve the matter. Tomorrow I have no vehicle. What the hell. Every thing is hurry up and wait and tough **** for you mam.

Dear ABSA we are now once again been given the run-around. I have attempted to contact Andre (from ABSA collections) on his cellphone this morning and have only managed to reach him now on another cell phone as he does not attend to land line numbers. According to him I need to pay immediatly after receiving the settelment amount...NO WAITING PERIOD. In order to relese the money I need five days and without an amount how do you expect me to make payment. SORIOUSLY what is going on here?

The delay apparently is now once again with ABSA.

Still waiting for a balance. No answers except that they are waiting for the attorney costs.

So you ABSA ***** from the poor to pay your depts. Now I have to pay R46000 on a car that I only owe like R25000 on. The sheriff who treated me like **** has his fee. The transport costs after I nicely requested for the vehicle not to be moved. Andre's costs. You have nothing more to take from me except my life. Thank you ABSA you are awesome.
