So the Buck passes at ABSA
I have been trying to claim the surplus on the Home Owners cover on behalf of my son and ABSA paid itself the money by transferring everything to the Bond Account.
I notified them of the deceased's death in August 2015. They now tell me that there are charges in the account that I must pay which I find nonsensical in that there has been an overpayment and such must be refunded. This Insurance does not form part of the Deceased's estate as it was taken solely to settle the Bond and the Surplus should be payable to the nominated Beneficiary who is my minor son.
Shame on you ABSA for squilling and stalling with an Innocent Child's money. Mnx
