So disappointed

Very useless bank, promise things they can't do. I transferred money to someone in ABSA that i have paid before by mistake. I phoned the bank, they asked me to send all the proofs and the communication to proof were the person is refusing that they received the money. The person who assisted me at the beginning assured me that I will get assisted. The also asked me to send the account number of a person i wanted to send money to at ABSA. I did all that but to my surprise I was told that because of the security reasons they can't assist me. I don't understand which security reasons are they referring to cause all they need to do is to call their client. Asked to to send a statement to proof that they didn't receive the funds and if the person is refusing freeze the account until the matter is resolved. They protect their client to ***** money from people. Was also told that we can't help you because you are not our client.
