Sneaky finance charge

I was charged a finance charge on my credit card which I have never seen before. Upon enquiry it was due to a few EFTs that I had performed on this account. I had erroneously paid these from the credit card on the banking website. This was as a result of ABSA rearranging the items on the "pay from account" dropdown so that the credit card appeared at the top and became the default. I actually contacted ABSA the day after I had made the transfer, and I received an SMS from a Shirley Dole that this will be looked into. I still have not had any response. I feel that this is unfair, even though the amount may be small, but in principle you should not mess with the defaults that we have been using for years - I know you will say that I should have been more observant, but I am a software developer and my clients would have got really upset if suddenly we changed the defaults. After reading a MyBroadBand article about sneaky bank charges, this is not a good reflection on ABSAs part.
