Sneaky deals with partners in Rewards programme

On the 21st of September I received a SMS informing of a 15% discount AND a 2,5% cash back deal at Hirsch's. I immediately headed over to Hirsch's website and checked out a freezer I was considering buying. After identifying one, I made my calculations on the supposedly "15% discount and the 2.5% cash back. After organising a bakkie to collect the said freezer, I headed early Monday morning to Hirsch's home store closest to me, which is 40Km form my home. Got there only to discover, the price has been increased the day before the "15% discount" This is misleading and deceiving. I feel conned. I am very disappointed that ABSA partnered with such deceiving people. Now, the day AFTER the special, the price was lowered again.
