Shocking Service

I recently changed my residential bond to get a better rate and was promised by ABSA that if I opened a cheque account that I would get a rebate of R6000 which could go towards my bond costs and lawyers fees etc. When the bond registered I requested the payment and was told that I would not receive a payment as the bond was approved before my cheque account was opened. This was despite my new private banker handling everything and also believing I would get the payment. The private bankers superiors have refused to honor the agreement due to the fine print which was signed. I am absolutely shocked
