Shocking Service

Firstly the geyser was installed according to the policy, but it does however seem that the installation omitted the grounding of the unit, resulting in electrical current being experienced while showering. I see this in a very serious light if a person cannot even touch a tap while showering, and have to use a combination of cloths or gloves to close the taps, or being to scared of electricity to even take a bath.

It has been followed up with the electrician and the plumber, and both simply noted that the case has been closed, without any further action.

This problem did not exist prior to the replacements, and I did check the specifications and a earth wire is needed.

The latest response was a promise to contact my mother within 8 hours, that was a week ago with no contact.
