I lodged a claim for my Wooden deck. took over a week for an assessor to come over. despite numerous calls. even after the Assessors report, I had to make numerous calls for a verdict if the claim is valid or now. I made another claim for wind damage to by garage door. I called them after three days, only to be told that an service provider will be appointed the same day. By Garage was left open for two days and night with no security. Alarm had to be by passed. Even though an Assessor or service provider arrives it will take a few days to approve the claim. Will Absa accept responsible for any theft to my property. I have decided to have a new door replaced at my own cost. Waiting for ABSA will place me at even more risk. Shocking Service form Absa. I been with them for almost thirty Years. time to change.
