Settlement paid for loan but not closed!

I had a personal loan with ABSA. I consolidated my debt through African Bank and my loan was settled with ABSA.<br> <br> I noticed that there is R163 still going off my account. Settlement was done towards the end of November early December 2014. I went to the branch in Yeoville to ask for a settlement letter and they called someone to ask for it and that person said they do not do settlement letters anymore. They informed me that I must not worry if African Bank has settled it means I'm done with the loan and I shouldn't worry.<br> <br> I called your the contact centre and they said my loan was not closed?! Please assist in closing that account and refunding the money that's still going off. Loan settlements between two institutions happen all the time I don't understand why its not closed. The contact centre referred me back to the branch I don't have faith in that because they clearly misinformed me when I asked for a settlement letter to confirm the account is closed!<br> <br> I have called 10 ****erally) different numbers and they all refer me back to the branch to fill out a 2932 form that I wasn't told about! Settlement are a daily occurrence I'm very sure someone did not do their job.
