Settlement letter

I've settled my ABSA Credit Card with Brooks Luyt Attorneys on 31 Dec 2019. To date I have not received my requested proof of settlement letter. Everytime I request a settlement letter I'm told they needed to re-log my request. Last week I was told they're awaiting confirmation from ABSA bank? Why? - my settlement arrangement was with Brooks & Luyt! I am now fearing that with ABSA or Brooks Luyt will come back to me and say that I still owe money on this account?!! Can I please just get a settlement letter on this account!
