SETTLEMENT AND PAID UP LETTER

Good day all I am very disappointed with Absa , all the above referenced are for the queries I kept sending and have not received any positive response. I have SETTLED my Absa loan account which i was quoted a settled to be paid in 3 months by one of their external collectors. yet i have not received any paid up letter from Absa or their collectors, everybody is giving me the run around. i sent all proof of payments to Absa , they are not responding... I send emails, and email, and email, nothing, we always try to be honest citizens by paying our debts off, but we end up getting this type of treatment, I don't know if i should approach the ombudsman or the police ,please help me.
