Settled my loan

I settled my personal loan that I have with Absa through a consolidating loan I took with Nedbank.<br> I specifically asked the lady at Rustenburg Absa branch for a 7 day settlement. This was handed to Nedbank to conduct the settlement. According to my knowledge the loan with Absa was settled. Now I have been informed that my by Absa loan is not settled and only when I phoned the call center to ask what the reason was , she informed me that there is no such thing as a 7 day settlement letter? Really? How am I do settle the amount in one day? Considering that EFT's takes up to 3 days to clear! Secondly , the lady by the Absa call centre informed me that a request for settlement was sent to the admin department and should there be any outstanding monies I will be liable? Really? How is it that a bank cannot give me a 7 day settlement? This is really the worst bank in the world when it comes to customer service! There shouldn't be any money outstanding because I settled the loan with interest already.
