Sale in execution gone bad

I bought a Absa property at a sale in execution on the 23rd of March 2017. The previous owner then came with a court case that the correct process was not followed by Absa. Absa's lawyers (Smit & Sewgoolam) indicated that the whole case should be done by September 2017. We are already in October 2016 and no court date has even been communicated. The latest response from Absa's lawyers is they believe the case will be finished next year November. The delay has been on the side of Absa's lawyers and it prejudices me very much so. I have tried going into the branch at Absa Parktown but they could not assist. So I called the legal department of Homeloans but after 20 minutes on hold I put down the phone. Absa has to put pressure on their attorneys and advocates to finish the case this year or assist me to leave the process in the financial position I was before buying the property as a reasonable time period has elapsed and the fault has been with Absa's lawyers.
