Rude customer service

I just received a phone call from some woman at ABSA in response to a question I had about making a foreign payment from my banking account. She didn't give me her name or I didn't catch it, but she basically told me I have to tell the UK government to change the way they want payment because the bank doesn't work that way. Many other people make foreign payments via their banks' credit and debit cards and have not had this issue. She was not helpful at all and I found her very rude.
