Good day, So today I went to Absa Clearwater branch to get assistance on an unauthorized debit order. I got there and asked the consultant if we can stop this debit order, and he said I will be charged for the debit order having bounced and that the same company might come back next month to debit a different amount and it would still go through. I asked if there was no other way to block it he said no. I got so frustrated and told him I won't leave any funds in my account and he said they would still charge me (Absa) for the debit order having bounced. At this point I felt like the bank is robbing me, I told him that I want to move my account to another bank and he couldn't care less to assist me with the matter.
