i recently took out a credit card with Absa Card Division. I made a purchase of about R3000 on it. Last month i was charged an annual/monthly fee of R28 whi I had no problem with. This month I see the same amount of R28 and another amount of R58 which they said was a finance charge. i dont understand what this is still. Now this morning I see a R120.20 has been debited from my account. I called their call centre and I was informed that these are internet banking charges. I have never done internet banking on my credit card nor have I given Absa authority to do as they please with my account. The call centre told me there is nothing they can do for me regarding this matter i find this pathetic. Absa is a total *******. Whats the point you pay your monthly but they keep adding exta charges? I dont want anything to do with Absa anymore its charges are ridiculous.
